Supervised Playtime
All dogs play differently, so even if your pup's toy was made to endure rough play, it's best to always keep an eye out during playtime. Supervised playtime can help prolong a toy's lifespan and also keep your pet safe. Make sure to choose toys that are safe for your dog to play with. For large dogs, it’s better to avoid small sized toys that can be a choking hazard. You should also avoid toys made from toxic materials and prefer toys made from natural rubber. However, no matter the material, size or shape, no toy is indestructible so if it shows signs of wear and tear, it's probably best to move on to the next one.
